Conduct and enforcement

CompCube expects good-faith competition. Targeted harassment, threats, hate speech, stalking, doxxing, coercion, repeated unsporting conduct, and retaliation for reports are prohibited in CompCube-operated spaces and match interactions.

Proportionate response

Staff may warn, temporarily restrict matchmaking, forfeit or administratively resolve a match, reverse a result, or permanently ban an account. Decisions should consider intent, impact, repetition, evidence quality, cooperation, and precedent. Security compromise and deliberate match manipulation warrant stronger action than an accidental technical failure.

Every moderator timeout requires an end time and reason. Every permanent ban requires a reason. Match decisions and status transitions retain actor/reason metadata. Staff must not use privileged controls to benefit themselves, friends, teams, or rivals; conflicts of interest should be handed to another moderator.

Appeals

Appeal through the community support route with your CompCube identity, action/match ID, approximate UTC time, concise explanation, and new evidence. Do not harass staff or repeatedly open parallel appeals. An appeal can revoke a timeout, remove a ban, change an administrative result, or reverse rating, but audit history remains.

Private personal data and security-sensitive evidence should remain access-controlled. Public summaries should disclose only what is necessary for transparency.
