Competition rules

Player obligations

  1. Use only your own linked identity and one active CompCube account.
  2. Run the exact published plugin build for your Beat Saber version.
  3. Play the map, characteristic, difficulty, and modifiers selected by the server.
  4. Start promptly, submit genuine scores, and remain connected until the terminal result arrives.
  5. Do not coordinate an outcome, intentionally underperform, manipulate MMR, exploit alternate accounts, or share authentication tokens.
  6. Do not harass opponents, poolers, moderators, developers, or other community members.
  7. Report exploitable bugs privately. Do not reproduce them in rated play after recognizing them.

Queueing means you are ready to complete a full match. The system's timers continue even if the headset is removed or a menu is open. A missing score becomes zero at the score deadline; a disconnected plugin forfeits and receives the rolling timeout.

Official result

The backend record is the official automated result: selected maps, raw and recalculated scores, health before/after, timestamps, automatic actions, connection events, MMR delta, and status history. Video or replay evidence can support a review but does not independently change the database.

Admins may declare a winner, set health, force a pick/score, forfeit a participant, abort an active match, or revert a completed rating result. Material interventions require a reason and remain in audit history. Staff should prefer pause and investigation over irreversible judgment when evidence is incomplete.

Technical failure

Ordinary client/network failure follows the automated disconnect and score-timeout rules. Widespread server, BeatSaver, or platform failure may justify a pause, administrative decision, abort, timeout revocation, or result reversal. A player must not assume a replay: continue safely if possible and preserve evidence.
